Hundreds of hospitality workers in Las Vegas went on strike on Friday, November 15, after they refused to accept a newly-proposed contract.Footage from Culinary Union shows workers walking out of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas before dawn on Friday morning and forming a picket line outside the establishment.In the footage, strike members can be heard chanting, “No contract, no peace!” and, “If we don’t get it, shut it down!”Culinary Union said that more than 700 workers are striking, demanding wage increases, reduced workload, and safety and technology protections for workers.
