Kyrie Irving is a professional basketball player with the Dallas Mavericks. The point guard also has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets. During his career, he has won one NBA championship and is an eight-time All-Star.

Kyrie Irving’s Net Worth

  • Net worth: $90 million

In 2019, Irving agreed to a four-year, $136.5 million contract with the Nets. He has a guaranteed salary of $36.5 million for the 2022-23 season, the final year of his deal, but it’s the Mavericks who are paying his check, acquiring Irving in a trade in February 2023.

Often controversial, Irving faced a public backlash early in the 2022-23 season when he posted a link to a movie and a book that shared an antisemitic message on social media.

In the aftermath, the Nets suspended Irving for eight games after he initially failed to disavow antisemitism. Nike also terminated its $11 million annual contract with Irving 11 months early and canceled the release of Irving’s signature shoe.

“Kyrie stepped over the line. It’s kind of that simple,” Nike co-founder Phil Knight told CNBC on Nov. 10. “He made some statements that we just can’t abide by, and that’s why we ended the relationship. I was fine with that.”
