Who has the better sauce: Swiss Chalet or St. Hubert?

Images via Flickr (Flickr)

It's a question as old as time itself (or at least as old as family-style chicken restaurants): does Swiss Chalet have superior sauce for its chicken, or is it St. Hubert?

The question becomes more pertinent today as Cara Operations, parent company for Swiss Chalet as well as Harvey's, Milestones and several other restaurant brands, announces its purchase of largely Quebec-based restaurant chain St. Hubert for $537 million.

St. Hubert, which has 108 locations in Quebec and nine outside the province, will help Cara gain traction in Quebec where it has previously had little presence.

Even with limited locations throughout the rest of the country, however, that hasn't stopped fervent debates over whose sauce is superior. If comments on the Yahoo Canada Facebook page are any indication, people are very passionate about their sauce of choice.

So which do you prefer? Vote in our poll and share whether you're #TeamHubert or #TeamChalet.
