NEW DELHI (Reuters) -Saudia Group is in talks with Airbus and Boeing over ordering wide-body jets to increase its capacity as planemakers face constraints in production slots of narrow-body aircraft, a spokesperson for the group told Reuters. The state-owned group, which owns Saudia Airlines and budget carrier Flyadeal, last month ordered 105 narrow-body Airbus planes but had a requirement for 180, said Saudia Group General Manager, Communications and Media Affairs, Abdullah Alshahrani. Airbus in January said it is sold out until the end of the decade for single-aisle jets.
SpaceX tested its huge Starship rocket again. More than 1.1 million people were watching the launch live on SpaceX’s website. Primary objectives included a landing burn and soft splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico with the Super Heavy booster and a controlled re-entry of Starship.
Boeing’s space capsule developed more leaks and ran into thruster trouble during its first test flight with astronauts as it closed in on the International Space Station on Thursday. Boeing and NASA managers were confident they could manage the propulsion system despite the problem and that more leaks were unlikely. Later four of the 28 capsule's thrusters went down.
