U.K. 1Q GDP Rises 0.3%
May 28 -- The pound fell for a second day against the euro after a report on U.K. first-quarter growth matched the government’s previous estimate. The British currency erased an advance versus the dollar after the data, which showed gross domestic product grew 0.3 percent in the first quarter.
