U.S. Airlines Said to Lobby Congress in Gulf Fight
March 5 -- The three biggest U.S. airlines, vying with Persian Gulf rivals for overseas fliers, are turning to Congress for help in tightening aviation treaties with Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, two people familiar with the matter said. Hans Nichols reports from Berlin on the dispute, and spoke with Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar al Baker.
