Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal took to social media after Elon Musk tweeted that his deal to buy Twitter was on hold.

One of the tweets reads, while I expect the deal to close, we need to be prepared for all scenarios and always do what's right for Twitter. I'm accountable for leading and operating Twitter. And our job is to build a stronger Twitter every day. He went on to say, the tech industry is facing a challenging macro environment right now. And that's why the company is making efforts to manage costs.
