Thunderstorms in Far West Texas Shower Marfa With Hail

Thunderstorms in west Texas brought intense hail to the Marfa, Texas, area on May 15, reducing visibility and pelting cars.

On Friday, the National Weather Service issued a significant weather advisory for Marfa, forecasting winds of up to 50 mph and penny size hail, as well as possible lightning.
