Team USA Rugby Player Shows What Goes on During Olympic Downtime

Team USA Rugby player Cody Melphy gave an inside look into what the players and coaches got up to during downtime between same-day matches at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Melphy’s video, filmed and posted on July 28, shows players sleeping, eating, virtually connecting with family, and goofing off.

Team USA Rugby’s men’s side finished sixth overall in the sevens tournament after a loss in their fifth place finals match against South Africa. The sixth place finish is Team USA Rugby’s highest-ever in the Olympic games.
