Stocks flat, Treasury yields rise, bitcoin and ethereum climb

Yahoo Finance's Ines Ferre breaks down how markets are trading on Tuesday.

BRIAN SOZZI: Let's go to Ines. She's at the YFi Interactive with [? no ?] [? belt bag. ?]

INES FERRE: No [? belt ?] [? bag. ?] But they are handy, I will say. Good, Julie. Let's take a look right now what's happening with the markets, because we are hugging the flat line, really, when it comes to the major averages-- the S&P 500, the NASDAQ, and the Dow after yesterday's sell-off. Looking at where we're at with the 10-year treasury, we are seeing the yield at 3.75%. Let's take a look right now at where we're at with the sectors, because we are seeing energy that is leading right now after, also, real estate and materials.

You've got the defensive sectors, utilities, consumer staples, health care that are slightly in the red. Over on the NASDAQ 100, look at the mega caps, they're slightly lower right now. Apple, down about half of a percent. Amazon, down 8/10 of a percent. Out of the big tech names, we're looking at Meta, that's up 7/10 of a percent.

But what you're really seeing are the pockets of green here, with the Chinese ADRs, because these are really jumping. BABA, up more than 5%. Pinduoduo, seven. JD.com, up 8%. And finally, I just want to check out what's happening with the cryptocurrencies, because Bitcoin is up 1%, just above 16,300 per token.

And then Ethereum, seeing some gains right now. Up 3%. Guys?
