Queensland Snake Catcher Removes 'Beautiful' Red Belly From Resort

A snake catcher in Queensland removed a big red belly snake from under the fence of a resort in Cooroy, Queensland.

“I was called out to a resort in Cooroy today to relocate this absolutely stunning and well fed 4.5ft Red bellied black snake,” local snake catcher Luke Huntley said in the post on September 23.

They poured water into the hole and poked the snake to get it out from under the fence. The footage shows Huntley proudly holding the snake after it finally emerged. “One beautiful big red belly,” he exclaims on the video, lifting the large reptile. Credit: Luke Huntley via Storyful
