Police Fire Guns to Shoo Bears Away From Road in Tennessee

Police fired guns to shoo away a couple of black bears that had wondered onto a mountain road near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on October 18.

Jaclyn Vozniak, who filmed this footage, told Storyful she and her family had “never seen actual bears other than at a Zoo” and the experience was “pretty epic”.

“This is the kind of traffic jam we enjoy as tourists from Georgia,” she said. “After 25 minutes the police showed up because the traffic jam was getting hectic and the bears were enjoying their food too much.” Credit: Jaclyn Vozniak via Storyful
