Pandemic pushes some people back into substance abuse problems

A treatment center that recently opened in Harford County aims to help people beat drug addiction, but the coronavirus pandemic has caused some big problems for people who are reaching out for help. Counselors at Evergreen Treatment Services, a substance abuse treatment center that opened in October in Havre de Grace, said their clients are not only worried about the COVID-19 virus, but they're also relapsing into substance abuse problems because of the pandemic. The counselors quickly adapted to new health protocols because of the pandemic.
