RACHELLE AKUFFO: We're just a few minutes away from the closing bell, so let's bring in Yahoo Finance's Ines Ferre to break down this final market action. Hey, Ines.
INES FERRE: Hey, Rachelle. Yeah, and the markets today really giving back the gains from yesterday. Take a look at our YFi Interactive. You're watching the Dow that's down 1.4%, the NASDAQ composite down 2.8%, and then you've got the S&P 500 that is down 2%, though, off the lows of the session. Still, though, when it comes to the NASDAQ and the S&P 500, those are on track for their worst September since 2008.
Taking a look at the 10-year Treasury note that's up 4 basis points at 3.75%. Also looking at the US dollar index, coming down just slightly, just above 112. And then looking at where we're at with the equities on our sector action, you've got energy that is barely in the green. But you've got utilities that's down 4%. You also have consumer discretionary, down more than 3%. Real estate also lower, and technology and communications services, rate sensitive stocks, are lower.
So let's take a look at the NASDAQ 100, where we're watching Apple down 5%. The line in the sand for Apple was 150. You can see it's well below that. Also taking a look at Tesla, part of consumer discretionary, down 6%, though off the lows of the session. It was down 7% earlier. And then you've got Meta, Nvidia that are also lower. Looking at crypto, we are watching Bitcoin just above 19,400. And then just taking a look at where we're at with the travel stocks, these are lower as well, as well as some of the Chinese ADRs.
