News on the move: U.S. hands Bagram Airfield to Afghans after almost 20 years

SEANA SMITH: News on the move. US troops have vacated Afghanistan's Bagram Air Base, handing over control to the Afghan National Security and Defense Force after nearly 20 years. Now this comes as US troops quietly leave the country. It's the last active airbase used by the US military in Afghanistan.

Now Elsa is picking up strength and was upgraded to a Category 1 storm, the first for the Atlantic hurricane season. Now the storm is battering the Eastern Caribbean right now, where officials have closed schools, businesses, as well as airports. The storm is expected to reach Florida early next week.

And track star Sha'carri Richardson has tested positive for marijuana and could miss the Olympics as a result. Now the sprinter, who qualified for the Tokyo Olympics after winning the women's 100-meter race, has been suspended from the Olympic team, according to the US Anti-Doping Agency's statement. Richardson accepted a one-month suspension and the date of her provisional suspension began on June 28th.
