RACHELLE AKUFFO: In the sprint to the closing bell, the major indices accelerating, trying to head into the positive there. As we can see, at least two of the major indices did turn green, the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ. The Dow, though, still struggling, though, down just only half a percent there. Let's take a deeper dive with our very own Ines Ferre. Ines.

INES FERRE: Rachelle, what a turnaround from earlier this morning. The NASDAQ flipping into green territory, having its best day in a week. The NASDAQ up more than 1 and 1/2%. The S&P 500 had been down around 2% earlier this morning, climbing back up. It could end the session relatively flat. Taking a look also at the US Dollar Index. We've been watching this throughout the day, up above 106. This is a multi-year high.

Also, looking at the euro, multi-decade low. This is the euro against the dollar. And with that higher dollar, by the way, we did see crude oil prices lower also because of recession concerns and demand concerns going forward. Taking a look at the winners today, we are seeing the NASDAQ 100. Look at Amazon, flipped into the green. Google up more than 4%, Meta up more than 5%.
