DYLLAN MCGEE: So there you have it, everyone. That's MAKERS, at least in the virtual setting. Now you have a sense of it. I hope you're all going to get excited and ready to join us on the journey ahead. We have so much work to do. You definitely got a sense of our theme. We're going to keep going. And I just want to do a huge shout out to all of our speakers today. To our incredible team, we did our first virtual event, wahoo!

Our board of directors, I love you all and all of you. The comments were so fun. I was dipping in and out. And it was so fun to see all your energy. I can tell we have an incredible year ahead of us.

But you can't end a MAKERS event without the one and only Ella Bell. So let's bring her on back.

ELLA BELL SMITH: Auntie is here. Auntie is in the house.

[INTERPOSING VOICES]

ELLA BELL SMITH: Here's what we know. Hold on a minute. MAKER women, we're everywhere. We're in Black Lives Matter. We're in social inequality. We're in space, we're in health, we're in sciences. We are everywhere.

Because you know why? MAKER women are bold ass. And bold ass women are MAKER women. Number one, we're Black, we're white, we're Brown, we're Asian, we're Native American, we are global. We are all in this together.

We can't make a difference and we can't go forward without each other. So here's what auntie is going to do. We're going to close this baby out. I just loved everything. Everybody was just so amazing. I'm just like ah. But I have to be calm, you know? I'm trying to be dignified. Those sisters got me all revved up.

So Dyllan, I want you to repeat after me.

[INTERPOSING VOICES]

I am trying not to cry because boo, look what you've done. Look what you've got, baby. And I'm so proud of you that I love you so much. And we said we weren't going to cry so cut it out. Repeat after me, OK?
