Yahoo Finance Live's Dave Briggs looks at the potential delays Intel's Ohio factory may face due to the CHIPS Act passed by Congress.
DAVE BRIGGS: And here now a news alert. Intel issues a warning on its new chip factory outside Columbus, Ohio, the company saying in a statement, the factory could be delayed because of Congress and their inaction on the Chips Act. Intel announced it was building the factory back in January with an Intel initial investment of $20 billion. Could cost as much as $100 billion, which would be the most significant expansion of US based semiconductor manufacturing in many years.
