Fed’s Kashkari: Fed has more work to do on inflation

JULIE HYMAN: I just want to bring you some headlines from Neel Kashkari of the Federal Reserve, the Minneapolis Fed president. He is taking part in a moderated Q&A session. And he's saying some stuff about inflation.
He says, "The Fed has more work to do on inflation. And the Fed knows its job and will reduce inflation to 2%." He's very confident. He said, "The Fed will get inflation under control."
BRIAN SOZZI: Oh, please stop talking. These guys are just, ugh. But I will say that they've rallied--
JULIE HYMAN: Well, they're all saying the same thing.
BRIAN SOZZI: They've rallied around Jerome Powell. They--
JULIE HYMAN: Yeah.
BRIAN SOZZI: Jerome Powell has set this-- has set this. And I got-- to his credit, he doesn't have a lot of detractors here. They seem to really all be in agreement. Not great for the markets, but still, great for Jerome Powell.
