Editor's Edition: Post-pandemic priorities

With Pfizer Inc. developing an antiviral pill for COVID-19 that has shown promising trial results, many are feeling optimistic the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Scott Gottlieb, a Pfizer board member and former commissioner of the FDA, told CNBC last week that the end of the pandemic "is in sight right now" and that the U.S. will soon enter an endemic phase of the virus.

On this episode of Editor’s Edition, Alicja Siekierska and the Public Policy Forum’s Sean Speer take a look at the COVID-19 situation in Canada and how it is unfolding. They also discuss what areas policymakers should prioritize in the post-pandemic recovery, the state of the travel industry, and Ontario Premier Doug Ford's decision to raise minimum wage to $15 an hour.

If you have any policy-related questions you want Sean to answer, or feedback about the show, please email alicja@yahoofinance.com.
