Dramatic Moment Smokestacks Collapse in West Virgina Power Plant Demolition

Eyewitness footage captured the dramatic moment two smokestacks collapsed in a cloud of dust during the demolition of an old power plant in New Haven, West Virginia.

The Philip Sporn Power Plant was operational from 1949 until 2015 and is expected to be entirely demolished by mid 2022, according to an article published by the station’s operator.
