The Billionaire Behind Charter's Bid for Time Warner
May 26 -- Charter Communications recently announced it will buy Time Warner Cable for $55 billion. The merger will create the second-largest cable company in the U.S., with 17 million subscribers compared with Comcast’s 22 million. The big winner in this deal: John Malone, controlling shareholder of Charter and the most important media mogul you’ve never heard of. Bloomberg Businessweek’s Sam Grobart reports.
