Avolon Flies Through First Earnings Report

March 3 -- While RBS is reportedly set to announce layoffs in the US and Asia - a veteran of RBS Group's aircraft lease business has been building Avolon. Formed 5 years ago, Avolon Holdings holds the title of the largest ever initial public offering on the New York Stock exchange by an Irish company. Today, Avolon posted its first earnings report - a 35% increase in revenue and says it will deliver $1.6B worth of aircraft this year.
