Calgary, Canada & London, United Kingdom, March 8, 2021 - Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited ("COPL" or the "Company") (XOP: CSE) & (COPL: LSE), an international oil and gas exploration and development company, today announces its intention to conduct an accelerated bookbuild (the "Bookbuild") to raise net proceeds of approximately £13 million by way of a placing (the "Placing") of, and subscription for, new common shares of nil par value in the Company ("Common Shares").

The Bookbuild will open with immediate effect following release of this announcement. The Placing is subject to the terms and conditions set out in the appendix (the "Appendix") to this announcement (which forms part of this announcement).  A further announcement confirming the number of new Common Shares issued as part of the Placing and the price being paid per new Common Share (the "Issue Price") will be made following closing of the Bookbuild.

Tennyson Securities is acting as sole bookrunner in relation to the Placing.

I think we are looking at March 15, 2021 to close the acquisition. As promised by the company, they said it will take off from there. There words, not mine.

Set a buy for the morning opening at another 500,000 shares for 0.01. Holding 500,000 at 0.005.
Let's see if this helps in any way.

Long term holder here. Hard to move this stock even .005 as 9 billion shares. Even by acquiring Atomic they will double their market cap but on paper only move the stock half a penny. Consolidation reverse split is looming ... 10 for 1 looks about right.
In order to move this stock to .10...real evaluation...price to book...a $900 million market cap would have to be attained...20 times current value...I don't believe this is feasible with current assets...a lot will depend upon what kind of traders get their hands on this

If you want this to go up don't set a stop at .005. At the end of the day the market maker can drop the price down and stop you out and fill bids at .005 thus delaying any price gains as someone will then place an ask at .01 to flip it in the future when they get a fill.

So you can’t buy at .005 and can’t sell at .010? What’s the point?

Nice acquisition in Colorado but we need more people to see this stock and if it doesn’t get seen it just sits

I reached out to COPL’s PR team to understand why they were not using this platform for news releases as i believe COPL is at a huge disadvantage on the CSE with no releases on YF... YF has 75mill active users monthly and surely some press releases on here could help bring some additional notice to the company.... anyways following was her response...

I will check with my staff to see if Yahoo Finance is a possible platform for COPL and get back to you. Indeed YF is a well known and well used tool for investors. Thank you for your email.

I have a theory that when they close the deal they'll do a rs to reduce shares and make it attractive to large investors
