June 29, 2022--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Williams (NYSE: WMB) today announced that it has reached a final investment decision on its clean energy project, the Louisiana Energy Gateway (LEG), which will gather 1.8 Bcf/d of natural gas produced in the Haynesville basin for delivery to premium markets, including Transco, industrial markets and growing LNG export demand along the Gulf Coast. Williams intends to create opportunities to pursue additional market access projects as well as develop carbon capture and storage infrastructure that will further decarbonize the natural gas value chain. The project is expected to go into service in late 2024.

If it dips below 30, I expect buying to start to move WMB up.

A few months back I wrote a list of things WMB needed to do to get to $35-$37. The company did not do all those things but because of geopolitical issues it hit $37. Since then it has lost almost 1/3 of its value to where we are today. Looking at today's issues, nationally and internationally, combined with guidance going forward this company should be worth $33 a share and that is a fair value IMHO

I just stumbled upon WMB, They seem like their profile fits well with companies im looking to invest in. Can anyone give me the nickel tour on what they do and why to invest in them? From the chart, looks like i might wait for a pull back before starting a position. Thanks for any input!

When I see a sell trade for 1.03M shares I start to get a little concerned. Someone is worried about SP and demand destruction going forward IMHO.
R
Is this dividend qualified or ordinary income or distributions? Thank you.
J
market booming today and wmb on slow drip down all day...danggggg
L
I love this stock but why does it always give up the dividend and then some after the ex dividend date.
M
This is another company to hold for income and to beat inflation.
G
I noticed WMB and KMI are both part of the XLE Top 10 holdings. That can be a huge catalyst for the SP. It can also be a 2 edged sword IMHO.
J
dividend is now over 5%...I've added some. market will rotate back to this sector soon imo, I heard one of the stock guys on CNBC yesterday saying he was going back to them seeing the recent steep-ish dip.
J
what a beating lately----
s
Will Epd make another bid for Wmb? I think they will. Transco line is unique and can’t be duplicated
G
Energy Transfer looking to get into the petrochemical business and looking for a partner. Wonder if WMB should consider this as a possible expansion move?
G
I see today's low share volume. I have a hard time believing this can last as Europe, as of this morning's developments, is going to need more LNG. Setting Transco aside how much can WMB provide to the LNG ports and how much does that help EPS?
B
WMB headed for a new 52 week high today. Yay me for investing.

nice dividend payout June 9 = xdividend date ! countdown is on-

Natural gas is soaring! Its been a cold spring (at least in northeast) so heating demand is still ongoing late into the spring. Also, we are shipping every molecule we can to Europe! No regard for the American consumer, we must protect Ukraine's border!
