    Just bought more.

It is difficult to buy when gold has just plunged and emotions around Winston are negative, but at US$0.0725 this is a screaming deal - even if Winston takes 2 months to get up to full production and gold drops to $1700, the financials for Winston remain very strong.

Tick tock June 21 is coming for Max and Joe to have mill operational. Hope they do not again have a list of excuses ready to go and overpromise and under deliver again. Production starts in T minus 120 hours. Shareholders get Gold or BS on Monday!

Backed up the 🚚 today... I'm thinking we'll get through the gold price correction this month about the time Winston starts production again and I think there's some significant upside ahead.

I believe that a great strategy would be to bundle a few tiny juniors and sell them to a larger junior or major.

Wikipedia: "This third installment of the Basel Accords was developed in response to the deficiencies in financial regulation revealed by the financial crisis of 2007–08. It is intended to strengthen bank capital requirements by increasing minimum capital requirements, holdings of high quality liquid assets, and decreasing bank leverage.

Basel III was agreed upon by the members of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision in November 2010, and was scheduled to be introduced from 2013 until 2015; however, implementation was extended repeatedly to 31 March 2019 and then again until 1 January 2023."

Basel III rules move physical gold from being considered a Tier-3 asset to being considered Tier-1, which allows physical gold in bullion form to be counted at 100% value for reserve purposes. ... Beginning in June of 2021, Basel III rules will require banks to hold unencumbered physical gold valued at 100%.Mar 2, 2021

The Fed Chair "Jerome Powell" is so full of BS, it's dripping off his chin!!! His comment yesterday:

"Powell said the interest-rate forecasts “should be taken with a big grain of salt,” and cautioned that discussions about raising rates would be “highly premature.”

What hike in interest rates???? The US treasury will go insolvent if they even do a half hike!!! He is manipulating the Gold market so they can continue purchasing Bullion Gold at a discount in preparation for the conversion to a digital dollar. Basel 3!!!!

It would be very interesting if Basel 3 takes place the same time the mill starts showing positive results. Seems like a perfect formula for a BIG rise in share price

Winston Gold Updates Progress at Paradine Mill Facility
    Published: April 21, 2021
It was recently discovered that the trunnion bearings in the ball mill needed to be replaced. This will keep the mill out of operation for about 30 days.
Winston Gold will take advantage of this down-time to continue to streamline the mill by inspecting and repairing minor issues that have been identified with the primary flotation cells and the installation of a set of cleaner cells to further improve gold and silver recoveries.
Once these upgrades have been completed, Winston plans to run the Paradine Mill 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to process the high-grade stockpile from the Winston Go

Well we are now 43 days and counting. April 21st Carabba's press release said about 30 days for repairs and improvements. I'll cut him some slack and say that we are now past the " about " and I am expecting a detailed no BS press release any day about the Mill repairs and what has been done to improve the gold recovery from approximately 35 - 36% on the 750 tonnes that were processed producing 7 tons of Con. I am not sure if you all understand how serious this recovery rate problem that we have is. With .2 - .25 ozs of gold per ton, we have to be able to recover 90 % plus of this gold otherwise we are in trouble. I appreciate your sentiment Scott but Recovery is where the success or failure of our micro miner lies.

Maybe the best play would be to sell to another larger junior miner that has some cash to purchase some spare parts to keep in inventory. Or at least a backup donkey, cart and pick.

THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY WITH THE LETTER BELOW
    Tom,
These are good questions you are asking.
In the beginning we have leased this old mill that has been idle for many years and we had to do a lot of work to get it running
as every one knows and some of the components are inadequate and we have been updating as we go along.

The mill it self is very nice for its age and flows very nice, as we were in production we started to experience violent vibration coming from
the ball mill's pinion drive so we immediately shut the mill down so we would not start breaking anchor bolts and concrete and mainly the safety of our employees.

Tear down consisted of all guards , oilier tank and plumbing all so electrical had to be removed. We then roll the mill after the door was removed and dumped
35000 lbs of grinding balls out of the mill and hand picked up and staged into barrels. Then 2 days cleaning off the bull gear and pinion nasty open gear lube !

Affco machine shop a 100 miles from us was scheduled out to do the tolerance checks on the bull gear and pinion to see why we had the violent vibration
and to determine if there was a sag in the mill from sitting for many years with poor care and maintenance.

Affco found the mill had no sag and the gears were surprisingly in fair shape for the age of the mill . They did determined that the pinion bearings were bad so
we got a quote and schedule from them to pick up the pinion when the mill crew is back on 5-5-21 and at this time we have 4 - 100.000 lb. jacks on rental will be shipped in
so we can jack the mill up to inspect the Babbitt bearings on both ends of the mill's journals for wear and smearing. If the Babbitt's are to far gone then we will have Affco take all the bearings to their machine shop in Anaconda, MT. They are the only Foundry in Montana that can pour and machine these industry size bearings .

We are on their schedule as their other clients : Stillwater Mine, Montana Resources, Ash Grove, Graymont Lime.

If Murray or Max gave me the word we could find bearing work from some other Foundry in Utah or maybe Washington but cost and time frame with this pandemic will be the same.

We have plans to do all the bearings that need to be refurbish as our goal is to have this mill efficient for another 30 years.

During our down time we are in the process right now in expanding the mills recovery with more flotation cells, pumps, plumbing, electrical, lighting for big production.

Interesting valuation of Winston. The author asks two questions:

1.) do they have enough cash on hand even if they start the mill June1?

2.) how high of quality is the ore coming out of the ground.
