Description

Val-d'Or Mining Corporation explores, evaluates, and promotes mineral properties and other projects in Canada. It explores for gold, copper, zinc, silver, nickel, and PGE deposits. The company holds 100% ownership interests in a total of 50 operated properties covering an area of 31,365 hectares located in Ontario, Québec, and in Northern Québec. It also has interests in 11 partner financed option joint venture properties covering an area of 19,552 hectares situated in Ontario and Québec; and a net smelter return royalty in six groups of properties covering an area of 22,062 hectares, as well as holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in a group of properties consisting of 61 grassroots properties located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The company was formerly known as Nunavik Nickel Mines Ltd. and changed its name to Val-d'Or Mining Corporation in July 2017. Val-d'Or Mining Corporation was incorporated in 2010 and is headquartered in Val d'Or, Canada.
