There is a huge demand for new cars building as people are forced to replace their old cars..When the chip shortage comes to an end we could see 2022 and 2023 as the best years ever for companies like VW and Porsche.....Plus we get a dividend while we're waiting....jmho

This is a substantial investment stock in my folio and I am unable to get out of red for last few months .. forget about breaking even! This company taught me an important lesson that big companies with huge setups and bureaucratic structures are difficult to adopt to changes. It been more than 2 quarters, they could not manoeuvre the chip problem and just making some PR statements which are absolutely worth trash for investors and the figures every month are dropping consistently.. A company this size should have launched a new electric model in this time which uses some other chip architecture copying Tesla’s style.. Tesla cars just bypassed the entire chip shortage things .. the CEO keeps praising musk and god knows how old the board members are who are just sitting on last century’s laurels and unable to shift company’s focus in the new era and competition. Only talks, extreme slow execution, consistently dropping sales, no model to look forward to .. Painful 😣

Volkswagen is pushing ahead quickly with bidirectional charging, whereby the iD electric car battery is connected to the home electrical system. A VW study shows that 75% of their iD car buyers are interested in this ability. An impressive 42% already have photo-voltaic systems installed in their houses.

Fiat Spunoff $Race Ferrari, on 01.03.2016 at $42 .. Today, almost 6 years later, Ferrari trades at $253. 600% appreciation.

    If Valkwagen $VWAGY $VWAPY
Would Spin-off Porsche and then Lamborghini... Thery would unleashed, tremendous hidden values. It's time for VW, Porsche and Piech families, to make the move.

When I read the Dec 1 press release on battery plant expansion sure sounds like various EU governments will be partners which fits given green mandates. Think this will be game changer for VW. Also believe VW will be likely co-manufacture for Apple car, at least for EU.

Isn’t Porsche already listed under the ticker POAHY?

What would be different about an IPO?

will we see a remake of the 2008 short squeeze on VOW? :).

anyone has data on short interest on VOW, VOW3 and Porsche SE ?

We certainly don't know the future, but when Porsche SE saying it's "pure speculation", I'll be careful about taking their words at par.

From the 2008 event, they have a track record of buying huge amount of calls options, in secret, and then revealing to the world that they basically own almost all of VW at that time, generating the legendary short squeeze that made VW ( via VOW shares) the biggest company by market cap in the world during the squeeze and generating billions of euro of profit for Porsche..
The stock of VOW went up almost 400% in 2 days.. and all the shorts were hurt badly..
