The market goes up, the market goes down, the market stay flat, I will keep buying in a monthly basis. I know it will pay off and funny thing is it may beat all my stock picks long term. Growth and pays you dividend, this is the key to preserving and growing your wealth. It's not rocket science!

I'm actually looking for a good trader that can help me trade and make good profit, I've been seeing so many recommendations but i don't think they're trusted. Please do you have any recommendation?

Monday's huge, panic sell-off turned out to be just another terrific, short-term buying opportunity. Eventually, the market will enter a sustained, over-due correction that will shake the nerves of more than a few investors. The really committed long term investors will know enough to resist the urge to sell. Just remember, the two psychological drivers of stock prices are fear and greed. Fear will almost always overwhelm greed. Watching the value of an account drop precipitously for days or weeks or months on end is the true test of nerves that separates the "nervous Nellies" from the serious, long term investors. The Nellies were dumping on Monday, and now they're chasing the market higher. Just remember.... it's not how high you sell, but rather how low you buy that makes the difference between the rich and the poor.

Why the big sell-off today? A Chinese real estate company that MIGHT be having debt problems? Maybe. The more likely concern is that the U.S. Treasury might have an even bigger problem if the Senate fails to extend the debt ceiling for a few more months. How many times has this happened in the past? I've lost count. This has happened before, and it'll happen again and again and again. Let Mitch McConnell have his way and put the country into default. That'll look really good on his resume. Personally, I'll use opportunities like this to buy VTI/VTSAX.

As a military veteran, I can't believe that the highest ranking officer is guilty of Treason. Sad times ahead for America.... Uncle Wokie is a Jokie...

I did exchanged all my retirement bonds to VTI, and hope I’m right! I got screwed last 4 years by holding bonds because I’m 60, and lost all the gains from the market! I’ve been watching the market dropped 4 days in a row, and hope it recovers again!
Anyway it’s fir long term, but I’m out of cash to average down!

Is VTI the best choice for an ETF in taxable account? I am on fidelity and own $FSKAX in my tax-deferred. Just wondering if there's a cheaper ETF that is just as good for my taxable account?

For those who haven't yet found it, there's a handy rating system of ETFs available at:
It seems to be simple and objective for those people who don't want to spend hours
researching and analyzing on their own. Best of all, it's FREE.

Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Business opportunities are like buses, there’s always another one coming.

VTSAX- I have known many old time investors like me 63. Swear by VTSAX telling me YOY returns avg. 13 Plus % set it and forget it !!

I just bought in after the Internet bank grandfathered in 3% cash rate I had expired in Apr. 2021 they gave me a 2 year locked rate.

Long story short VTSAX its a hell of a lot better than a cash account. Wish I started sooner. I deployed 7 figures.
    Since April 2021 I am up 6.84%

Looking to invest in VTI. I currently use Fidelity but wondering if I should open an account with Vanguard. With Fidelity the fee is $79.00 to buy in with an expense ratio is 0.03 and 0.04 thru Vanguard. Can anyone help me clarify which way to go. Any other pros and cons to consider? Thanks
