    So after all the analyst "buy" recommendations and price targets exceeding $30, the stock goes down after beating both revenue and profit consensus estimates- guess the market didn't like the new acquisition

    Can you say VNT = lowest of the lowest forms of life (ie margins)..........can you????

    For the full year 2021, Vontier anticipates adjusted diluted net earnings per share to be in the range of $2.55 to $2.65. <- this would put their current price as P/E around 12... they grew revenue 16% last Q. With a 16 PE they are a $40 stock. Why such a discount?

    a better option to spend money ($500 mil) for shares buyback is to pay debts or give bonus to average employees ( not just the top 20 of wmanagement team) When the shares are down, it’s not bc it’s cheap, it reflecting either the weaker consumers spending or the whole world economy is not rosy in the near future. Look at the big picture.
