Bought several more shares today. Will continue to keep buying shares every week. Especially during red weeks. Until the bear market ends.

the November puts show a lot of implied volatility to the downside. I'm going to hang tight and not add.
to wit, the November $35's have a $1.55 premium.

To me this is too good of an opportunity to pass up. I always wanted shares in an apparel company and a Dividend aristocrat is hard to beat. I got assigned at 40 on Friday after a month of rolling that put. Good luck longs!

Back at 2012 stock price and lowest P/E ratio since 2011… stock is a bargain currently

Bought 50 shares today @ $41.71. What the hell, what with a 1200 plus down day, might as well try to make a couple bucks. My yield is over 4.5% which is not hard to take. This stock sold @ $70 at beginning of year. The stock, according to my calculations, still sports an ROIC of 16% plus, a WACC of 8% plus, leaving an EVA of 8% plus. Not bad. Might buy some more tomorrow if market falls further.

Five-year low on the stock price? Check.
    Vans sales down? Check
    Layoffs throughout the organization? Check

But hey, the company still pays a 4% dividend, so that makes it a "Buy", right?

I did my duty to God and county this weekend. Bought two new pairs of Vans. A new North Face ski jacket, shirt and North Face jacket for the wife too. Stores were packed, the sales were great. Also went to $AMC. Theaters were jam packed this weekend. That said, I know the puppet masters will continue to stage EVERYTHING down. I will continue to add weekly. And if this and the market rally takes a dump. I will triple my weekly contributions.

Insiders buying @$44.75. Rodney McMullen director bought 6,000 shares. Very bullish to finally see insiders buying at these levels. VFC is a dividend aristocrat with a yield @4.5 percent.I think it is a buy signal for the stock. I added today. Just think the valuation makes a ton of sense at these levels.

Debt/equity ratio is a bit scary. And all you guys who say Vans sales are up haven't been following this company very closely. Who cares if the company has been around for 120 years? That means nothing (or very little). Do any of you remember a company called Sears? How about Woolworth? The list goes on and on. If you guys just want to bury your heads in the sand and keep repeating your mantra about the dividend yield, but it's to your own peril, IMHO

Looked at this company with a juicy Div. But then looked at the debt of 6.3 bill. They make shoes and apparel for outdoor activities. Why the hugh debt??? It's not lke there building rocket ships. what gives?? Thoughts?

I could not help myself on Friday, in with my first 100 shares and 2 sold Nov puts, strike 47.50. Fingers crossed! When a dividend king (or almost) gives you this yield, it's hard to resist...

Looks to me like they bumped up the dividend payment:

VF’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share, payable on December 20, 2021, to shareholders of record on December 10, 2021.

Triple downgrade today. I bought this stock previously at $66.15 but sold it about $10 higher. Would be tempted to buy again @$65-66. DB lowers target to $94. Webush lowers target to $69 and maintains hold and Williams downgrades from buy to hold. A lot of negative sentiment for a dividend aristocrat and I understand the issues with supply chain.

Added a few @div yield % of 4.52.... works for me in the ERIDP.

Still holding the position bought at $66.15. NKE report was concerning from a supply chain perspective. Feel a lot better after the Levi’s report. We have exposure to manufacturing in Vietnam but not to the extent of NKE. VFC is a dividend aristocrat. I think below $70 is a good place to own the stock after this correction. Ironically, we where making similar lows this time last year before rallying to $90. I think the risk/reward favor the bulls.
