Adding this next. Missed the great "dip" but I still sub 36 would be great.

Buying on a 5% market dip only to see it rebound the next day … priceless

as a Canadian, wanting home country bias, seeing that the s&p is just ripping and it makes up a bigger portion of XEQT, I'm really leaning towards VEQT as the core holding of my portfolio for the next 30 years

Looking like the marketss a are ready to give back most of their YTD gains....it will just take about 6-9 months rather than weeks. A grind lower. It will be hard not buy the dips but DON'T the tea leaves say - you will just lose more money. You may even lose more money on the downside trying to pick bottoms or trying to buy the dip as they say. More money is lost this way than market crashes as when markets crash EVERYONE is in the same boat and the pain is usually short lived. In declining grinding lower markets, you get sucked in to each dip and then everything you are long with goes lower than what you paid and then you average down more only to lose more money - THIS IS CALLED A BEAR MARKET and it really feels like we are heading into one. The next sharp upward countertrend rally will a good opportunity to sell down your equity exposure and GO ON A LONG VACATION!!

New to investing. 32, looking for long term ETFs to consistently add funds into for long term growth (aim to achieve “work optional” by 55)

I’m new to researching ETFs, all have a lot of positive comments. What differences between them should I be looking out for?

Excellent diversification with global currency exposure. This ETF is an intelligent solution to any investor looking to build wealth and retain it over time. A core holding my portfolio. An overall fantastic product.

Can someone tell me in their humble opinion if this is better than XEQT and if so, why? I’m 7k into XEQT currently. If I’m just splitting hairs then I won’t switch
