First thing to look at is Free Cash Flow which stands at USD 201 million (TTM) which is positive, which is good. If it was negative, distribution would be the first thing to be scrapped. Second thing what will be the company's next priority in case it has to use this FCF - will it be to pay now a higher interest because of climbing rates or pay distribution - mind you interest consumes 90% of operating income. Right now net income to Common shareholders stands at negative 35 million which will become more negative as interest rate climbs. Distribution Payout ratio of USAC is already negative 500%. But this has been for past few years and USAC is still paying out distributions.
Totally irrational just like February 2020. At that time USAC went under five dollars and the yield was unbelievable because the dividend quarterly payment was the same as today.
I just added more to my holdings.
I live in Louisiana and our state consumes half of what we take out the ground. I’ve see 48” nat gas lines coming into 3 separate 9 mw power plants. The electricity generated went to the mid west via grid tie in.
The over demand for gas is causing demand for more compression hp.
Enbridge is building two 40” pipelines through our state. A 2 billion dollar project. They will need compression services. USAC will be there waiting for a call.
New trader watchlist was published by these guys and it featured USAC. (
Yeah what is up?
Looks to me someone does not like the higher rates combined with USAC. Are they concerned that USC's high debt will become too expensive with rate increases.
I think that might be an overreaction. They have many inflation related increases in their contracts.
If I can free some cash I'm going to add at these prices
Just a note........I don't see any insiders really buying hand over fist USAC stock, just taking the stock awards.
so....Kramer and Zack is calling this a toxic and sell stock. Gee, thanks aholes!! I just dropped 20 grand on this and NOW you state this!???? in the hole 4500 already. I. Hate. This. Market!!! losing on every single one now. hate to say it....... Let's go Brandon! there I said it.
Huge 25 year China gas contract with ET a good thing for USAC compression services
I sold off 675 shares this morning I have held since 2016 in two accounts, and kept 340 shares. I have bought and sold USAC several times over the years and had 2100 shares at one time. I made some great money from this stock....my invested cost per share was $2.89 cents including the dividends paid out. In one ROTH IRA account I had a negative cost per share of -$15.78 and sold early today at $15.77 on the plus side banking a total investment return of $31.56 per share. This has been a great investment for me for over six years, but iI feel they might cut the dividend. I bought 675 shares of (LPG) Dorian LPG Ltd. Shipping LPG Gas instead of pumping gas through pipelines. The last dividend LPG paid was $2.50 cents per share on 6/02/22....there is always a better yield somewhere if you dig deep and do your homework. Energy Transfer owns the controling shares of USAC and can vote the control over diviedend payments completly. If I had to sell at a loss, I might have held USAC shares but took the profits for a much bigger yield on another gas play. Europe is going to buy Nat Gas this winter to avoid Russian Gas prices......LPG Dorian has contracts to supply Europe. Good Luck to All.......these are hard times, the streets are bloody.
This drop makes no sense across the energy market. Even a recession can fix the supply side problems. This is just pure liquidation across the market that doesn't resemble reality in the markets themselves (at least for energy)
Looking very good. ET also a buy.
Woow, all red except this one
Looking very good
The future looks very good. Distribution looks solid. This company takes patience because there is a significant delay from a compressor being contracted and the company actually being paid. Major delivery and setup time. My guess is numbers are going to be significantly better by our August report. New compressors will hit beginning of 2023. August 2023 may even see a distribution increase. In the meantime their $2.10 distribution looks solid as a rock.
I dont understand why people selling high yield dividend stock, its like money machine 🤷🏻♂️
Did anyone read the latest filing?
Appears to be a buying opportunity at current cost.
What the….we just went down. Oh well.
is anyone bothered by the distributable cash flow being under 1 ??
