Freeport LNG opening earlier than expected. Good news to up, mid and downsteam and associated suppliers

Three percent of fleet activated now 88%. I would expect similar results 3rd and 4th Quarters. based on improvement this quarter, I think dividend coverage could reach 1.3 by January. The 30 new large compressor units coming on line end of 2022 and beginning 2023 could increase the ratio further. I doubt we would see a dividend increase until the debt is reduced significantly . The dividend is becoming pretty safe and the share price may begin to reflect that.

USAC keeps their huge dividend $.525 this quarter. With gas demand worldwide shooting up, they should max out their compressor fleet this year. New compressors arriving end of year for even more growth. Looks like cash flow should begin to grow significantly and with it the share price.
Should be an excellent C/C August 2nd.

Looks like the trend in USAC is positive!!! I agree with others that debt needs to be paid down before a distribution increase. The current distribution is REALLY nice!!! Where else can you earn nearly 12% on your money with a company that has positive trends in an industry that will be the bridge between so called fossil fuels and green energy for years and maybe decades to come.

If you want another play in the gas/oil space you might consider PBR or PBR_A-preferred shares. (Brazil's major oil company) These are ADR's trading at $14.28 and $13.13. Payout is $1.30 US per share with x-div date of 8/11. Two dividend pay dates in Sept for Q3 div.

I am staying far away from USAC - It looks like it is going to drop off a cliff. I actually get way better stocks at (http://Themaxgains.tech)

What caused the USAC price not to increase to the $20 price level, is it because of their debt? If their debt goes up this quarter then they have a big problem.....

A Little concerned near term. Not many buying the dividend. Do we crash tomorrow?

First thing to look at is Free Cash Flow which stands at USD 201 million (TTM) which is positive, which is good. If it was negative, distribution would be the first thing to be scrapped. Second thing what will be the company's next priority in case it has to use this FCF - will it be to pay now a higher interest because of climbing rates or pay distribution - mind you interest consumes 90% of operating income. Right now net income to Common shareholders stands at negative 35 million which will become more negative as interest rate climbs. Distribution Payout ratio of USAC is already negative 500%. But this has been for past few years and USAC is still paying out distributions.

Looks to me someone does not like the higher rates combined with USAC. Are they concerned that USC's high debt will become too expensive with rate increases.
I think that might be an overreaction. They have many inflation related increases in their contracts.
If I can free some cash I'm going to add at these prices

Very bullish for USAC. Nice to see decrease in inventory with a rise in sales. Looks like coverage for the dividend will improve each quarter for the next few quarters. Debt reduction will probably prevent a dividend increase for at least a year or so but at these prices return is almost 12 %. As the coverage ratio increases and the debt shrinks we will probably see the market normalize the dividends. One could expect the share price to rise so the return is 7-8% or a share price of $26-$30. I doubt that will happen until 2023. In the meantime I'm looking for a dip like last Quarter to add more shares.

This drop makes no sense across the energy market. Even a recession can fix the supply side problems. This is just pure liquidation across the market that doesn't resemble reality in the markets themselves (at least for energy)

Just a note........I don't see any insiders really buying hand over fist USAC stock, just taking the stock awards.

Totally irrational just like February 2020. At that time USAC went under five dollars and the yield was unbelievable because the dividend quarterly payment was the same as today.

I just added more to my holdings.
I live in Louisiana and our state consumes half of what we take out the ground. I’ve see 48” nat gas lines coming into 3 separate 9 mw power plants. The electricity generated went to the mid west via grid tie in.
The over demand for gas is causing demand for more compression hp.
Enbridge is building two 40” pipelines through our state. A 2 billion dollar project. They will need compression services. USAC will be there waiting for a call.
