This is an unreal steal of a deal at this level. It’s just handing away money. Haha.

They could cut the dividends in half if it stays where it is now too long.

TNT is a real value at these levels. The dividend is almost 10% and the stock is at recent lows. A great pick for passive income, and weathering out a market storm. Best of luck!

I’ve held for 6 months. I’m down 9%. Meh. I keep forgetting anting to bail thinking some of my favourite growth picks are bottoming but then most of those seem to keep finding new lows too. I’ll probably ride it out and dig into the next 2 or maybe 3 quarterly’s.

FYI, for the short commenters.. I dont know who would short TNT, small potatoes is my guess, there are a lot of money losing tech that are MUCH better options for a short play, reits hold up well during interest rate increases and inflationary periods.. But I would wath the coming quarter with TNT for any other tenants leaving causing additional pressure with FFO and AFFO / share.

Pundits on BNN don't like this REIT because it uses external management.

Despite some hiccups, CIBC analysts still believe the company is doing well:

    CIBC EQUITY RESEARCH
    August 4, 2022 Earnings Update
    TRUE NORTH COMMERCIAL REIT
    Stable And Reliable
    Our Conclusion
TNT’s Q2/22 headline results beat our estimates and consensus, coming in
just light after adjusting for lease termination fees. TNT continues to enjoy
~96% occupancy, reflecting the defensive nature of a portfolio weighted to
government and credit-rated tenants (~76% of total revenues). We maintain
our Neutral rating, reflecting the balance between our positive view of the
REIT’s stable portfolio vs. the above-average leverage and stabilized AFFO
payout ratio. We are maintaining our $6.75 price target, based on a ~4%
discount to our unchanged forward NAV estimate.

I have a really good feeling about TNT. I'm not exactly sure why, and I know the dividend is very attractive, but I have so many other stocks that aren't doing well just like most of us, but if you look historically, TNT shows a respectable gain without the fluctuations. I bought Google and Amazon and some others and it always seems like you're just waiting for them to pop. I'm concerned that the pop is over, so I am viewing TNT as a way to essentially park my money for a while. So if I can park it and make a whack load of cash, I'll be happy.

What are your views on TNT?
