I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing in bitcoin. For example last year i invested 80k in bitcoin (with the help of my financial advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with him again and now I'm rounding up close to millions.

lil Willy, not getting enough attention today?? Lost too much on TTD?? Supply chain issues becoming undeniable?? Was at a TREK bike store just off the Island today.... they had NOTHING to sell.... about 200 bikes all sold with tags on them..... Talked to the owner for 10 minutes. He said these bikes were ordered last year and will be picked up in December and January when peak season hits.... He said he is barely surviving on service alone... LMAO..... AOC said there is no supply chain issue either. You two have a lot in common.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on TTD shares again soon, however the waters are too murky and rough at the moment. We need to get a better handle on the Omicron variant and also digest Powell's comments about inflation not being transitory and a faster taper. There will be heightened volatility in the market in the coming months, but I fully expect names like TTD to be able to thrive regardless, as it has been demonstrated advertising is needed whether the economy is closed or open. I actually had to sell my UPWK shares because the stock is far too volatile for me, whereas TTD while volatile has extended periods of stability. I was going from a 20 percent gain in UPWK to having it all erased. TTD is by far the better investment.

This is a company with a proven track record for winning and winning big. It's not just me saying it but the analytics support the comment over a long period of time. If TTD keeps delivering it could keep climbing back to where it was before the split. Their model has only become stronger and they have proven to be sticky as it relates to existing clientele. repeat business and growing the bottom line is the formula for success. Best of luck and do your own due diligence and make a logical and smart decision.

TTD has held up remarkably well after a 60% run up and only a very small pull back among the high valued tech stock shift in the past week. Great sign for long term holders. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Here's the answer to your question as to why TTD is dropping......

Fast-growing technology stocks have been slammed because of rising bond yields amid expectations for stronger economic growth.

You’d think a faster-growing economy would spur tech shares to ever-higher prices. But if the strong economic growth is accompanied by higher interest rates—as it is now—that can hurt tech companies with high valuations based on future profits. Higher rates mean that earnings years from now are worth less today.

“Bottom line, the stock market is being driven by the bond market this week and if we see bonds continue to drop (yields spike higher) then that will result in further underperformance by growth stocks and drag the broader market lower,” writes Tom Essaye, founder of Sevens Report Research.

According to Sam TTD falling from 110 to 96 for reasons having nothing to do with the company the end. Kind of like a lit candle means a catastrophic fire and that you should call the fire department. Or that you should call an ambulance over a non viral mosquito bite. So applying that logic to my investment in TTD I should liquidate my entire position over a small decline. I think I’ve more than made my point, but Sam still doesn’t get it.

TTD don't have good technical moat , but have strong propaganda,
P/E is 170 , way too high , really let retail investors got ripped off , proper price is 10 usd , even 16-20 usd may be too too high.
mostly because 30+% growth rate can not last more than 1 years .
and too many player in the Ad tech industry .
TTD market and executive team is good ,
but in terms of technology , pubm and aty(at.to) obvious are much stronger , and under-valued .
investors need be patient , sell TTD and see the real winners of Ad-tech
    industry

Sam, if you really timed your trades as you’ve claimed, I say congratulations. For me, there is a collateral benefit to being a long term player in TTD: it has really enabled me to get comfortable with big changes in short times. I invested just over 350k and even that I did over almost 18 months. Now, after the split and growth, when it moves, I certainly notice. The problem I’ve had to get over is not treating each new high as “my” money because it sets you up for feeling bad when the inevitable drop follows. That’s a good lesson for everyone, I think. You have to train yourself to focus on the trend and not what happens week to week. Example: I’m down almost 800k from the high and I have no trouble admitting that there was a time when that would have bothered me. That I don’t feel bad at all is something this TTD journey has done for me, and since none of us can predict the future with these Dems in charge with their crazy, inflationary spending, I feel grateful for the experience. The one problem I have is that I’ve moved my TTD accounts over to the my financial advisors so I can have everything in one picture. They don’t manage them, I do. The problem is that they don’t buy single stocks, and the day-to-day and week-to-week picture of the managed accounts is very stable: although I’ve enjoyed this up market this year like all investors, the growth has been gradual. Now, however, their dashboard includes TTD, so everything else gets masked. I’m not complaining very much. As I said, it’s good training for what might be coming as the ocean of cash sloshing around creates bubbles everywhere it goes. There’s only two things I care about re TTD: something that changes the company outlook, and the quarterly earnings call. To my fellow TTD investors, I offer the traditional Chinese New Year’s greeting: I hope you get rich!

Black Friday and Cyber Monday was a huge success for adtech companies. TTD will crush this quarter. Mark this post.

TTD seems to be holding up quite well in spite of the supply chain issue.
Even the car companies are still running spots. I guess no one wants their
    brand to go stale .

Sam, peeled off a few more thousand, did you? You know, yesterday was a milestone for me: my TTD investment crossed $4 million in value. It was only for a short while but, unlike you, I think big picture, long term. Now, I know what you’re thinking: what’s the cost basis? How much have I made? Yesterday, I did the figuring since I bought the shares over 17 months, starting in January 2018. My total cost is $353,991.69. That’s less than $10 a share on an adjusted basis. Not bad for my fun money account, right? But go ahead, Titan: tell me I don’t really own the shares, although you know I do.

OK boys, lets stop the bickering. Do any of you think, the industry will consolidate, with TTD taking out PUBM? PUBM looks like its kicking the comp and doing it with good financials. Oh boy, just when I asked the nasdq takes a slight turn to the negative side.
