Do you guys follow (

TPX has no business being above $5 a share. The commodities that are inputs to the manufacturing are costing the company significantly more. Memory foam requires chemicals that are derived from oil so that alone impacts the margin on the high priced Tempur-Pedic products. Not to mention the margin impacts of transporting mattress across the country from manufacturing and distribution facilities. And the American consumer has less discretionary income now that COVID relief payments have stopped and fuel/grocery costs are at multi-year highs. People who needed mattresses bought during the pandemic. There's no such people left. And with interests rates going up and home prices still not materially falling, fewer people will be trading up, which is another catalyst for mattress purchases. And now that TPX makes memory foam mattresses for other brands, as those brands see dramatic drops in mattress sales, TPX will feel that pain too.

if you like options the 1.2023 $35 strike put is incredibly liquid fwiw. said f it and sold one when it was under 25 last, rebought $2 up, sold again yesterday so it'll crash hard now but I got time. if you're bearish it's also pretty good since it's so deep itm at this point.
Merrill increases TPX price target to $61. Was $46. Cheers!
I am new to the investments online, I frankly do not know much about investing online. I have been looking to learn more about online investing, but it has not been easy for me. I want to invest as soon as possible. How can I begin?
I have owned TPX since the early 2000's---glad to experience how the company has grown into the #1
bedding retailer--now they have also moved this brand to Europe--the current management team
has done an excellent job--will continue to see profits as we move to the future-Good Luck to all
that have invested with this company
TPX had a great earnings report and the future looks great as well! I'm buying a lot here in the 31's!

An amazing amazing company all round. Hats off too to management, even buying back their shares to put the icing on the cake. Who says you need to re-invent the wheel? (Looking at you PRPL).
I bought some more at $31, so what do I know. What is still unclear is to what extent all the stimulus money caused a surge in TPX earnings and whether they will retreat to a level that is indicative of the current price. However analysts still expect EPS to grow a respectable 17% this year from $3.19 to $3.74 (based on mid-point of COMPANY guidance), that's a PE 7.8, and to $4.19 next yr. So ... either traders have it wrong, or the company does. Who do you think has a better idea? Co. still being punished for a Q4 miss, but 2022 estimates have only come down a nickle in the past 90 days. My gut (and the company's guidance) says its a buying opportunity, but we'll find out when Q1 is released. I do wonder if there are some general consumer spending reports that are weighing on the stock. What do you all think?
Why would they buy and operate a bankrupt retail chain – Innovative Mattress Solutions - when they are now are back in business with Mattress Firm which was one of the reasons for the IMS Chapter 11? To further add insult to injury now they sell to a chain like Big Lots. Makes no sense in Lex.
Merrill price target to $68 from $61.
Very nice company. Good and secure future for my investment.
Extended increased profits on increased sales. Looks like today's sudden drop is not related to fundamentals.
This is my best performer over the last few months.
Let’s get back to $100 😉, I say in a year it will be back at that level. 4k shares owned long term 1 year plus.
