    I would look at ARR as the base for determining valuation. $1billion over roughly $30m ARR is about 33x. Anyone have any thoughts if this is in line with industry?

    Last report is negative. My take: Simply put, it shows increased spending, which is being blamed for the losses, and that is unfortunately not giving enough growth to offset the losses. It’s now a trend and seems to be the issue. It’s common with IPOs that are forced to spend that quick influx of cash to support their model and find themselves already at peak interest for the brand. Then they either need to grow or charge more. Growing requires more spending and no one wants to pay more. Not good.

    The way out of this is not more paying members but getting better content and more paying customers. I wonder if they are already working on their exit strategy and wonder if they shouldn’t take the first buyout offer if they get one.

    If it were me I would switch up the marketing plan. Go traditional.
