Shorts getting absolutely obliterated on this. Bought at $225 back in March. Been straight up since then. Easy $400 by October, likely $500 by years end.

Shorts getting absolutely destroyed on this. Up almost 80% in less than a year. Sell at $500.

Atlassian has just executed a very difficult maneuver. Basically it discontinued a very profitable product (their behind the firewall collaboration tools) and made their flagship products cloud only.

There had been a degree of skepticism on whether Atlassian would be able to do that without disrupting their revenue stream and that was reflected in analysts target prices.

The first step of the operation was to accelerate BTF product revenues by making end-of-life pricing attractive to large enterprise customers that would take some time to transition to the cloud. That was accomplished in 2020 and resulted in a big bump in revenues, but analyst were quick to point out (correctly) that the revenue was a one time windfall. However, during that time their cloud products continued to grow.

During this last quarter the EOLing of their BTF products was a big hit against revenues, but by this time the cloud products had grown so much that they were able to more than offset those sales losses. Atlassian is now in the enviable position of having streamlined their operations around a set of cloud based products that make up practically all of their future sales whose growth is actually accelerating. So, there will likely be some upside on price.

But the fundamental story remains the same, Atlassian is a rapidly growing software collaboration company with a prodigious ability to execute, a great corporate culture, and enthusiastically devoted customers. Because of its considerable history its valuation is very high, and hardly looks like a bargain. But for longs this is certainly not the time to sell even if there is an apparently large bump in the next several weeks.

For those on the sidelines waiting for an entry point, Atlassian will continue to be a frustrating company in which to find a bargain.

It’s amazing how many bashers are here. Simply amazing. I’ve been in TEAM since IPO day, and I was keen on getting in because of the sheer number of large corporations that I knew were using their Jira and Confluence tools. As more and more companies expand their global footprints, the importance of collaboration tools becomes more and more evident. This is an area that Microsoft fails to execute on.

TEAM is not a short-term trade. Will it drop back down after today’s 25% pop? Most likely, but that won’t bother me. I’m in this for the long-haul.

In a market where 99% of earnings are getting clobbered, TEAM is up 12%? I think this stock will be faded like a new pair of jeans when the market opens. Not only that, the majority of analysts came out with new 12 month price targets of $305 and $308. Like most gaps, this one will be filled as well.

Vastly undervalued, considering its desirous tool products and hungry customers.

I doubt TEAM could hold any longer, even everyone go back to work, no need remote conference calls and other at-home communication. As more vaccines rollouts, everybody can get real contact rather than remote access....

Just sold all my positions for great profits it will sink like a falling rock again like last time...
