TD.TO’s financial health outlook appears good to me… Their Assets to Equity ratio at around 17 is decent and they have a sufficient allowance for bad loans which is extremely important in this market. Market headwinds will be debt servicing for all stocks over the next several quarters. TD's liabilities are made up of primarily low risk sources of funding. TD.TO has an appropriate level of bad loans at around 0.3%. Looking forward to seeing their earning report this week!

My estimation is td will beat expectations handily. They will however fall in price due to guidance or just because the market will find some reason to think it’s peak earnings due to large potential write down in the future.

I think most Canadian Bank Shareholders are pensioners/retiree’s . Reaping the benefits of the Quarterly Dividends. I doubt they check the message boards wondering of the Stock price is going up or down….they don’t give a Yahoo at this time around.

I am not here for capital gains. This is a dividend play. I honestly do not care if TD drops to 50.00 it just means more market share accumulation for me.

Will be back to 100+ before long, apart from National, with which I have zero familiarity, a portfolio with a sizable/reasonable allocations to TD, CM, BMO, RY and BNS will help you SWAN (for me, order of magnitude is TD, CM. RY, BMO and BNS)...

It looks like $92 CDN is the bottom MAYBE. TD has stayed here now for several weeks. Buyers step in below $92😅💲

Most likely we are at the low end of what we will be a multi year consolidation band. Its not going to pay you much to own this thing from here but it will likely grow the dividend 25% over the next 3 years.

    Hold it and forget it.

Based @Nic’s astute analysis, Trudeau must also be responsible for inflation in the US and points elsewhere. While federal policies can affect market outlook, the current inflationary headwinds have been caused by multiple international factors, not the least of which is the recent schoolyard bullying by Donny’s close friend and role model Vlady. Successful investors do not let petty partisan politics, religion or and cultish allegiances influence their investment decisions. You can make money, irrespective of whether you voted blue or red (oh the double entendre).

You cant go wrong putting your entire portfolio in this stock to be honest. Throw the money in here and forget about it.

Dont be deterred, higher interest rates means higher profits. Bank earnings will be significantly higher quarter-over-quarter.

I got cxldri today. They gave me my dividend and then they canceled it. Anyone else have this problem? Why?
