Cash and Cash Equivalents totaled $80.4 million at March 31, 2022

Strl should report another solid quarter. I expect them to really benefit in 2023 and beyond from addl federal funds

Very nice earnings report. Solid improvement in margin, good backlog growth, buyback stock at 10.

Looking forward to tomorrow's conf call. Stock looks cheap at 14-15.

Wow....I am really surprised by this sell-off. The earnings came in solid, their forecast is slightly above expectations....and in the earnings call, it sounds as if they are being conservative. Right now, the stock is trading at 10X 2021 earnings....it's usually in the 15X range.... There was nothing negative in their press release nor in the earnings call....so I just don't understand the sell-off.... I increased my position today by 50%. I guess patience is called for.

But if anyone can point out a reason for today's action, glad to listen to it.

It got killed because they are almost at capacity for growth. You need to almost constantly be growing to appease the funds and regardless of how big the backlog, without more people and equipment. Growth is limited. They threw in about M&A to buy growth but the stock price is showing no one believes it.

This platform is the best place for beginners like me to learn more about trading stock and options. Interact with other traders in group chat is the most impressive part as we can discuss stock and options strategies.. Lovely platform with a wealth of features for the trader. https://daytrading.tools/LiveTradingRoom

STRL just add 15% to its backlog with the two nice contracts in Hawaii and Utah. STRL appears to be the cheapest of the domestic infrastructure stocks and should benefit nicely from an Infrastructure bill. I see the stock going to 28-30 by summer.

Bought more this morning at 12.30. Unfortunately, my average is $13.97. But, I am confident the stock will recover nicely this year. Forward P/E is very low considering growing sales, rising margins and increased level of discussion about infrastructure work.

Low bidder 64 million project in Texas last night. Millions more announced tonight. Good projects in Houston

my guess on STRL over next 2-3 days: sales & EPS will meet expectations, give or take a little but guidance will be better than expected, sending the stock 10-20% by Wednesday. But all bets are off on the stock price prediction if the market continues to tank hard due to tariff controversy.

This stock is up 35% YTD and still trades at a very reasonable PE. With the likely prospect of an infrastructure bill, I am buying in for a mid to long term investment.

Back where it belongs! This company has had earnings surprises past three quarters, new CEO who's solid, plenty of work, that drop was and still continues to be a buying opportunity. Target is $20 but I think it will go higher.

I keep buying. Would be shocked to not see a bounce on this after earnings

This declined from 18 to 12 because trumps infrastructure plan turned out to be dogshzt. It was actually 7 dollars when he was elected and raced up immediately. It hit 13 and sold off on bad revenue numbers. At 9 dollars the hurricane destroyed Houston and this rallied to 15 when blackrock came in and bought a ton. Last earnings and buying tealstone moved it to a high of 18 but then it died off.

They are putting a residential cement company in Houston to take advantage of the rebuild, their backlog should be at record levels.

This QtR is traditionally the slowest because of winter weather. However granite said today in their earnings that the winter has been mild and they were able to work on a lot of projects. They do work in a lot of the same areas.

Earnings should be a good number

Ok Guys I had some extra money and invested in STRL for the long term. Every since i bought it has been going down. I listen to the last conference call and read the 10k and other docuemtns. The fundamentals are good and hoping growth is there with infrastructure bill sure they will get something out of it. Also amends existing credit agreement helps alot. i think the Plateau acquisition was a big score and will start showing within next couple of years.

I would just accept that we are right, just not today. Value is value, just may need a few days or weeks. Don't get all crazy, haven't you been through this before? Just wait for it...
