Salazar Resources Limited, a junior mineral exploration company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Latin America. The company primarily explores for copper, zinc, lead, gold, and silver, as well as volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits. Its principal project is the Curipamba Project that consists of seven concessions located in the provinces of Bolivar and Los Rios, Ecuador. The company also holds interest in three concessions covering an area of 3,246 hectares in the Pijili Project located in Azuay, Ecuador; two concessions covering an area of 1,807 hectares in the Macara Project; two concession covering an area of 2,910 hectares in the Rumiñahui Project; a single concession covering 229 hectares in the Los Osos Project; and a single concession covering an area of 2,350 hectares in the Santiago Project. In addition, it has interests in the Alisales licence covering an area of 2,701 hectares; and the Ramos la Verde licence covering an area of 17,129 hectares in Southern Colombia. The company was incorporated in 1987 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
