I was talking to a friend at the gym about RE prices where I live on sunday. One specific house they had listed, which I was suprised had not yet sold. He said they we discussing repricing with the owner. I just checked on zillow, price drop $500,000. Last year it would have sold, over asking. more good news.

That $7,500 EV credit in the bill that was signed just raised the price of an EV by $7500.

Why isn't the Fed doing QT when the market is this strong ? They should be taking advantage of this . This is the worst run Fed ever. They could of dumped a 100 billion this month and no would care. When they do if the markets are weak they will panic. Another lost opportunity to get the country's financial system in a better standing and now if there is a problem we can start another QE with a 9 trillion balance sheet.

The CPI is still 8.5% and the PPI is still 9.8%. They are still very, very far apart from Fed's 2% inflation target. Fed will need to continue to raise interest rates very aggressively. It is just a matter of time for the stock market to come back down and retest its previous lows. Investors should take the opportunity to sell and take profits now while the stock prices are still high.

Dear goodness gracious. Shorts trapped once again. I guess some people never learn their lessons and will continue to lose money all the way to the ATHs again. Amazing.

Here's a hint for the clueless:

Inflation started this mess. Inflation peaking and trending down while jobs report is strong means zero recession, is the ONLY thing that'll solve this mess. It doesn't matter if inflation goes down slowly over a year or two. It only matters that it does. The market is forward looking. If you cannot comprehend this, you should not be in the stock market.

Inflation short term = panic selling
Inflation long term = increases revenue and profit EPS

Inflation is good news disguised as bad news.
