just waiting for earnings this week. if they show continued solid growth, and the share price does not move much, I'll be buying more. I think SPLK is undervalued.
SPLK market cap now roughly where it was in March 2018. At that time, SPLK had ~$1.4 billion in annual revenues. Fast forward to today, and they have shifted to a subscription model with $3 billion in ARR, 20% top line growth projections (maybe for several more years), and now just turning OCF and FCF positive (though inflation might take some wind out of this). I would say this is now in "value territory". I'm building my holdings. Would be pretty bullish from this point. If interest rates rise further and there is more sell-off, I'll buy then too.

Have you guys ever heard of (http://Themaxgains.tech)? The picks on there are way better than SPLK

Down almost 10% pre-earnings. What is the market expecting here? A total meltdown? They sell enterprise software subscriptions for mission critical applications on multi-year contracts. I'll be SPLK is more resilient than people think. But lets wait and see. Personally I'm waiting for another 50 basis point interest rate increase that causes another market sell-off. Then I'm going all-in on this.

ER will take care of the price, back to $122

AMZN, MSFT, IMB etc. all posted solid numbers for their cloud businesses. This would imply that SPLK customers are still spending, and I would not expect much by ways of any revenue slowdown. Also, I would assume that SPLK has significant pricing power with its subscriptions given their "mission critical" profile. I'm long on this company and think that revenue growth will remain strong for years to come.

Now I'm worried that SPLK will get taken private so that I can't enjoy the long climb after suffering through their business model transition.

Well...I have to admit I'm surprised with this sell-off. Perhaps I significantly underestimated the impact of interest rate increases. Still holding onto my SPLK shares, now at a nice loss. Have been thinking of loading up some more as I believe the overall growth story for this business remains intact. However, after days of just pounding losses each day it is hard to know where the bottom will be. Will just have to endure it.
Having said that, is this a buy now, or a value trap? It looks tempting to get back in.
