am considering an entry point in this stock but only just started watching it today - am a sonos user for all of my audiotech needs and think they are hands down the best on the market today. seems like there's plenty of growth potential here, I'm just apprehensive to enter on a green market day using unsettled funds - are people on this board optimistic about the stock, or feeling like bagholders ?

Yep, good company with a good business plan. New products & product features...like "hey Sonos" hitting the market next week. They have over a 1,000 patents, Google was determined by the ITC to have violated five of them...settlement underway. Mayht purchase will pay nice dividend as they integrate that tech their products will offer more power and clarity in small packages, they hit revenue marks last qtr, renewed guidance, etc.. Sonos is on a good trajectory. Investors know this...and funds are adding positions as well...they know. Long and Strong

It's been 90 yrs since the market has performed like it has since ~Nov. Regardless, Sonos is innovating and just surpassed all revenue expectations last qtr and confirmed FY rev projections. I think when the voice assist hits the market next week along with the Ray, the sales will continue to build and beat expectations. "hey Sonos" doesn't come with the privacy and info sharing concerns of Siri and Alexa. Early reviews are citing it's better speed and reliability as well. I believe when it's popularity takes off, along with the Mayht tech they're integrating into their product line, I think Sonos is going to get a buyout offer. If you can't beat 'em, you buy 'em. Long and strong.

in my 30 years of investing I have never had a stock perform like Sonos. The more good and positive news the more the stock drops.

Supply chain disruptions, Inflation, Slowing consumer spending, Higher energy and labor costs, Covid shutdowns, War in Ukraine, Rising interest rates, If we're all talking about these things I would guess they are mostly priced in. We are in a severely oversold condition right now. What's it going to take for us to rally from here?

Blackrock now owns 17.5 percent of sonos latest filing shows the added 9,760,000 shares to their position. Now holding 22,600,000 shares. I guess they see value or expect a buyout in the future at much higher valuations

Let's not forget that the biggest payout in the market don't come from a great performance but rather its promotion, Stay Invested, diversification for stream of income is very important and with the right skills and proper understanding oF how the market works.

Stunning. I said this thing goes nowhere until it is acquired, that was when it was in the low $30s!! The bashing I got. Now a buy-out target is blessed by those? at $19.70? Maybe a huuuuge $25-$30 buy-out. I guess moral victories are worth something. What a farce.

Shorts must be a bit nervous...note the market rally at the end of the day. 8 straight weeks of downward pressure...2nd time for such a streak in like 90 years (1932). And the consumer is very resilient and quite strong for Sonos products. Long and strong.

Doesn't sonos have an press event today about a new product? I haven't seen anything announced since they scheduled.

The Sonos shorts are running out of downward room....Sonos is approaching it's IPO price - yet it has no debt and is making money and generating nice free cash flow (verses it's state in 2018...balance sheet is so much better). Makes no sense to be trading this low, and growth per last qtrs projections is great. Also, they're not stagnant...they're innovating and pushing tech forward in the audio market. We'll hear more about this...this week.

Broken support and hovering over $19. After earnings, once it settles down, expect it to be a good long-term buy. Can't wait for Q1 earnings release.

Cautiously optimistic from a guy who said it was going to zero a couple weeks ago...and to $15 two days ago. A month ago said "fundamentals don't matter"...earlier in the week "ultimately the market will set the price based on company fundamentals". Koo koo for cocoa puffs. In the meanwhile Sonos is executing their plan nicely....as we investors have been saying all along. Giddy Up.

Yep, the market is looking for good reliable growth stocks that can return at a rate higher than inflation for their portfolio holders. Sono's plan is working and customer base and demand is strong as evidenced by the 2nd qtr results. Listening to the CC last night, backlog is healthy yet delivery has improved. Sonos management team has shown good ability to navigate the supply chain challenges for the past couple yrs. Malaysia has come through on the production side, though it will only help as China opens up. Now they're looking to diversify production in Vietnam. Great company that is way oversold. They reaffirmed long term growth projections as well...plan execution is excellent. Long and strong...

With 96 percent of the float now in international hands and over 11 percent short interest it's not too long before the stock has a big upward move. Not sure what news they have set up for the May 25th event but could be the recently released leak of sub mini. Also should hear new info on the Google lawsuit this month. Strong belief that we're going way higher.

Given the numbers we are seeing from other high end products and the consumer appetite to buy them I am confident I bought this under $20

Massive inflation... what should I do? Buy food or a really expensive speaker system for the house?

Folks closing out short positions? Been watching CNBC and there are some indicators hedge funds in certain sectors are done selling... Could be a good sign for Sonos as the MMs and Hedge Funds were the main drivers down.... We'll see.

Here's a relevant snippet: "The other stock we look at today is high-end speaker maker Sonos SONO. The stock is trading for under $25 per share and its Zacks consensus price target represents 85% upside to Monday’s levels. Sonos, which also reports on May 11, has expanded its product lineup and customer base as it competes against the likes of Amazon, Apple, and others." The link is still active on Yahoo site. Showing a little life this morning. Can't believe Sonos isn't a buy-out target at this price. You would think the big consumer electronics co's would scoop them up in a heartbeat. With their advanced audio tech, market niche, product lines, patents, and personnel they'd be a nice acquisition for an entity that has international distribution and manufacturing leverage and options. Will be interesting as the voice assist, and new products go "live" in a couple weeks.
