Are you guys still in SID? They just got featured on the watchlist at (
I am staying far away from SID - It looks like it is going to drop off a cliff. I actually get way better stocks at (
58 MM buyback program in place ( 10 pct of float) . 2 year Pe + nice dividend . This is a steal below 8 ! Or what I am missing ?
fifty-eight million common shares to be repurchased by this time next year.
SID has too many shares outstanding which creates a lot of potential dilution in spite of the buybacks. They also have a lot of debt. That is the reason the price is so low. Compare to TX, which has low shares outstanding a very low debt. SID has very good revenue.

SID and AA need to catch up with GGB, another steelmaker from Brazil. Both are up 16% vs GGB's 28% since Feb 24.
In just 4 trading days the stock closed from $5.13 to $3.98, what a bloodbath!
Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais S.A., another iron ore miner / steel producer from Brazil just announced record earnings. They had no problem selling all of their iron. Also, Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional is even more undervalued than aforementioned company. This doesn't mean SID will repeat its success, but I think outlook is getting better and better every day.

Stock selling at ten dollars below book value. Debt is high, but lots of cash. Large amt. of shares outstanding.
Great industry, excellent revenues. A good long term buy.
Load up now! This stock is at an inflection point. The stock is consolidating as it moves closer to earnings. This stock will be great as a dividend play alone even before its inevitable move up between 6 and 7.
What’s you thoughts on this stock?
I bought in at $7.77, because of Zacks reports looked compelling. Since I bought it the Zacks score has moved from (Strong Buy) to (Strong Sell) and the stock price has fell.
I haven’t seen any news to warrants this considerable drop
