Think RR has turned the corner and future looks very bright indeed. B-52 contract win is huge even though it is not likely to impact profits for another 5 years. With B-52 contract win, RR has significantly increased it's footprint within US Department of Defense, and that bodes very well for the future. And with skies opening up again, impact of the new AUKUS deal, acceptance at governmental level of RR modular nuclear reactors to meet future energy needs, restructuring on track with agreed sale of Spanis subsidiary, RR being one of lead role in the new TEPMPEST program etc etc etc; I don't think there's another FTSE 100 company with potential of RR when it comes to rise in sp in coming years.

I purchased another 30k today. I'm a long term investor and see RR as at least a 2X from here....least. How often do you double your money this easily?

Boris Johnson is backing a new generation of nuclear reactors as Britain finds itself in the grip of an energy crisis.

Ministers are understood to have adopted a “change of focus” towards nuclear power, which the prime minister sees as essential to the government achieving its 2050 net zero targets as well as his levelling-up agenda.

Kwasi Kwarteng, the business secretary, is poised to approve funding for Rolls-Royce to create a fleet of mini reactors. Rolls-Royce believes the project to install at least 16 plants could create 40,000 jobs by 2050 in the Midlands, the north of England and elsewhere.

A consortium led by the engineering firm has secured the £210 million needed to unlock matching funding from taxpayers. It will be the first developer

Rolls-Royce (OTCPK:RYCEY, OTCPK:RYCEF) is awarded a contract to provide upgraded engines for the U.S. Air Force's B-52 bomber fleet in an award that could grow to $2.6B, the Department of Defense announces, beating out General Electric (NYSE:GE) and incumbent Pratt & Whitney (NYSE:RTX).
Rolls-Royce was given an initial six-year $501M base contract to supply 608 engines for installation on the Air Force's 76 active-duty and reserve B-52s, which could grow to $2.6B if all options are exercised.

SAPA supersedes Sener and agrees with Bain to purchase ITP AeroWithin hours of the deadline, Bain Capital advances an agreement with the Basque defense technology company and with JB Capital open to future incorporationsLucas IrigoyenSeptember 24, 2021 19:44ITP Aero facilities in Zamudio. EPITP Aero facilities in Zamudio. EPAfter a long and complex journey, the ITP purchase operation is ready to be formalized next Monday, September 27, at least the first and most important of its steps. Bain Capital , the investment fund that presented the best offer for the Basque aeronautics owned by Rolls Royce, has reached a preliminary agreement to form the industrial consortium requested by the central and Basque governments. The military technology company SAPA Placencia , based in Andoain, has agreed with the fund its participation to provide that guarantee for the industrial project and the 'roots' demanded by the administrations. JB Capital will also participate in the group, the investment group founded by Javier Botn and which has Alberto Garca Elas as CEO. According to sources familiar with the process confirmed to ' Crnica Vasca ', these will be the actors who participate in the signing of the agreement on Monday, although the consortium remains open for future incorporation of the administrations if they so wish, such as the Basque Government, or public companies . And it is that Bain has offered up to 30% of the shareholding for the companions who want to join the ownership of the new ITP Aero. No other company entries are ruled out, but this has been the point of arrival for this first milestone, once Sener discarded himself from the negotiations . The Basque engineering of the Sendagorta family had been proposed by the Basque Government to participate in the operation, but the high cost of entry, that 30% amounts to almost 500 million euros, the requirements to cover the board of directors and the decision-making veto power, made it impossible to advance. Sources involved in the operation point out that a possible reengagement is not ruled out, but in another phase of the operation. The Basque Government, has asked for several additional guarantees to reinforce ITP's roots in the Basque Country, which the lawyers are studying with the aim of incorporating them into next week's agreement. The objective of the contact process that has been maintained since the end of July, when Rolls Royce opted for the Bain Capital offer ,the strongest, with 1,600 million euros, has been to form a consortium of owners that would comply with the requirements of the Government of Spain. The central executive could hinder the operation due to ITP's strategic profile in defense contracts. In addition, the Basque Government, which has participated with Industry from the beginning of the process, also agreed with the position of seeking guarantees for the operation that would prevent transferring the image that it was a merely speculative operation. Although at all times, both Bain Capital and Rolls Royce have indicated that the objective was to consolidate a solid and benchmark company in the aeronautical sector. Agreement open to new partnersThis agreement is open to add new partners from now on, but Rolls Royce needed to complete the operation now. The British company announced a year ago that it was putting ITP Aero up for sale in an asset allocation plan with which it hoped to obtain the 2,000 million euros it needed to face a compromised financial situation. This haste requires not delaying the signing of the agreement beyond next Monday, although a period is now opening in which the consortium can incorporate new agents. One of them could be the Basque Government, which has already expressed its interest in participating in the company to maintain its "roots" in the Basque Country, as well as other companies with public participation such as Indra, waiting for its government situation is normalizing. And it is that Bain Capital maintains the disposition to give entrance to different partners, yielding up to 30% of the shareholding of ITP. A portion that should be distributed between the company or industrial companies and the governments, if they want to participate, as the Basque Executive has pointed out on numerous occasions . That 30% would be equivalent to 480 million euros. In addition, the investment fund has put on the table to give these shareholders a right of veto in certain decisions . Bain Capital's offer was the strongest Rolls Royce received for ITP Aero , at #$%$ 1.6 billion. An approach that, from the beginning, made it clear that he did not need a companion to pay for the operation. The investment fund remains the only option to close a purchase from which Rolls Royce needs to obtain liquidity before the end of the year to face its compromised financial situation.

The US Airforce is set to announce the vendor to complete the engine replacement for the B-52 fleet -- total of 608 units. RYCEY is one of the finalists. They have a very good chance of getting this high-margin work. Announcement is supposed to be today.

RYCEY shares are trading at $1.61 today... RYCEY shares traded at $21.20 on December 1, 2013... Some of the people on this message board are going to make a $2-$3 million dollar profit on their Rolls Royce investment.
