Feels like this is an elderly person stock. So boring but I have a feeling that there may be an announcement on the 27th when single event sport betting become law.

These guys really need to jack up the dividend, Bell is at 5.5% and Telus is 4.5%, 3.5% isn't gonna make the stock fly.

I emailed Rogers/Sportsnet about the upcoming sportbetting season in Canada (early December). Maybe partner up with SCR/Penn?

The upcoming election may change things, NDP want cheap price plans, Cons want no mergers and open to foreign competition, Libs no change.

Cabbie Richards is back in Canada from Las Vegas where he was working with Bleacher Report Betting. He's Sportsnet's new Executive Producer of Sports Betting Content.

Anybody here know about Rogers' sportsbetting happening soon since Bill C-218 passed? I used to have shares in theScore (SCR) and they were expected to start taking bets in Ontario in early December. Rogers lobbied the senate for bill C-218 so I assume Sportsnet will have a betting option. A while ago Rogers was hiring staff for sportsbetting but they seem very quiet about it.

If anyone wants an excellent "no annual fee" mastercard (that has cash back and travel insurance), they should look into Roger's Bank. I'm not sure why the company doesn't advertise more on this part of their business - seems like a missed opportunity. GLTA!
