Let It Ride
Should be a good day for longs today! Crypto is crashing and margin requirements are harder to meet. Harder and harder for hedge funds to maintain their short.
One of these Short owners could have sold 541,610 shares today. Expect another 500K shares shorting in next couple of days…they are desperately trying hard to scare the weakest investors If there are any!
Citadel Advisors Llc holding 550,384 shares
Susquehanna International Group, Llp holding 535,698 shares

Is Bankruptcy Knocking On RAD’s Door?…………………..ace
There is absolutely no reason for Shorts to Cover. NONE!! RAD Is Grasping at straws hoping they can Stay Afloat…………….ace
PS. Did you hear about the Shelf Offering??

RAD makes investing so fun and easy! The stock market has DOUBLED in 4.5 years, and RAD? Well you get the gist.
Actually RAD’s Demise Started When The Greens, Which Loaned money to Rite Aid to keep them afloat after Rite Aid Cooked The Books, recommended that the chain hire Bob Miller. Bob Miller ran Fred Meyer(Small Grocery Chain) which was bought out by Krogers. He had no experience of running a NATIONAL CHAIN and a National Drug Chain at that. He sold PCS before he even had a vision of what h was dealing with. Had RAD hired an Allen Questrom(Known Turnaround Guru), the monies would have flowed from Wall Street. Well that didn’t happen so here we are with Rite Aid now A Much Smaller Regional Chain Teetering on the Verge Of Bankruptcy 22 years Later.
Who will buy the next batch of stores to again pay down the Burdensome Debt that has held RAD Back for over Two Decades………………….ace
This has been a very long road back to a dollar. Once it gets there though, it can fall back to 40 cents in a day. Good times. Great leadership - thanks Heywere Downigan, you're the BEST !
So, if the store sales are already consistently dropping each quarter, how much of a hit will it be with the supply chain a mess and all the merchandise floating outside the ports??
Add to that: pharmacies are getting decimated by organized crime with shoplifting (see WBA) and Inflation is driving wages up at RAD (some stores closing early). The Bondholders still want their 8% interest regardless of what the problem is. It’s going to be a rough final two quarters this Fiscal Year for Big Red. Can’t wait for Excuse Day (Sorry, I mean Earnings Day).
I agree with John's post. The inflation adjusted market cap is less than $500 million. When the stock is pushed down by the Shorts, it becomes even more attractive for a take over. The company is not going bankrupt since they will issue Preferred Stock, if they have to. Time is on our side until another company realizes the synergies. Elixir by itself is worth $4B that would wipe out the debt, if it spins off.
Another profitable day for RAD shareholders! This is the longest running joke on Wall St..
Go down to $12 and get it over with already. Stop with the long drawn out theatrics.
Our authorized capital stock consists of 95,000,000 shares, of which (i) 75,000,000 shares are common stock, par value $1.00 per share, and (ii) 20,000,000 shares are preferred stock, par value $1.00 per share. As of September 22, 2021, there are no outstanding shares of preferred stock. As of September 22, 2021, the total number of outstanding shares of our common stock is 55,771,263.

This kind of trade is THE reason this company still exists. It is not about selling stuff to earn money. RAD primary purpose is to allow major shareholders to option. hedge or otherwise sell their position and down. I used wonder why Institutions never complained about the horrible Management. This is why they have Never been sued by shareholders. ALL Companies get sued by shareholders except RAD
The negative 10 million RAD share Wall in firmly in place. Short brick by Short brick. Today I think Shorties will add another 2 million bricks. Deutsche Bank must have Shorties really panicking. Deutsch Bank estimates are always low. So if Deutsch Bank says $15. Then the real target is $22. Let's face it. Who pops up on a Deutsch Bank upgrade. Keep digging Shorties.
And Albertsons increased its dividend by 20%. Stanley was right all along on what was viewed as a bad deal by all (including me). He knew rite aid was dying but that there was upside in Albertsons
Again for all to see the total authorized number of shares is 95,000,000 which includes 20,000,000 preferred shares. That leaves 75,000,000 common shares . Currently RAD issued shares count is 55.7 million. Not so hard is it?
As anyone with any Business and Stock types of class experience can see. Stock can have different classes of issue. Tom is deflecting my question about RAD's Debt Covenants. The requirements of cash on hand over $200 million that must pay back debt. Why? Because no Short here can answer my previous question.
Oh no, could RAD end the day RED? How could such a great stock do that? RAD=The great hoax!
@Jazz Again that is not what RAD'S management is doing. Read the form first before you start spreading misinformation. If they do issue new shares it won't be just the preferred ones....Read "We are registering an indeterminate number of shares of common stock, shares of preferred stock". So if they do issue common stocks well brace yourself for a huge impact. RAD will be $5 as Ace has been saying for a while now.
