$200 M buying back and 15-20% dividend every quarters. I do not believe that Qfin will be delisted. This is just market panics. I scooped near $19.
the same story
Sold all at 24 and I am getting out of Chinese stocks for the moment. Too much heat.
Another typical day for this stock.
I was reading the annual reports of $QFIN, $FINV, and $LX and found following interesting statistics. End 0f 2020, there are 1643, 3066, and 3313 employees in these 3 companies respectively. For each function, the ratios are as follows, general and administrative (8.7%, 7.8%, 6.85%), operations (32.5%, 27.63%, 5.43%), R&D and product (44.67%, 21.98%, 22.37%), risk management (5.36%, 24.07%, 10.23%), sales and marketing (8.76%, 18.53%, 55.12%). First of all, it amazes me that the number of employees of
$QFIN is just half of the other two, while achieving higher revenues and profits; second, most of the employees at QFIN are for R&D and products, while FINV uses relatively more people on risk management and Lexin mainly focusing on sales and marketing.
Any thoughts on those numbers, investors? How did QFIN achieve higher revenues and profits with half of the employees of its competitors and its competitors have generally more people dedicating to risk management?
30 tomorrow market open?
Her comes the dividends - With a 15 to 20% payout commitment giving 4% yield, this stock will attract not just growth investors but also value investors now. This can easily hit $35-40 in the short run.
If u are holding QFIN for a long time. This is a normal day
250 MM net income in a Q, annualized is 1B and market cap 4B. If this were an American company would trade at least at 5x the current quote.
Beat by .18 cents $1.34 estimate . Came in at $1.52.
How are you guys feeling about earnings? I am pretty confident they will beat on revenue and earnings, I hope they talk about easing restrictions but not sure how deeply that affected them.
quarterly divend .14c a share
The valuation of this stock is evidence of just how silly Wall Street is:
- Assume that QFIN's results are completely fraudulent or that it goes to zero for some other reason with 1/3 probability
- Assume with 1/3 probability that QFIN has to delist from the US and list in China and that it gets discounted 50 % to its intrinsic value and with an assumption of zero growth and steady free cashflows.
- Assume with 1/3 probability that QFIN has 0 growth and steady cashflows.
- Assume a discount rate of 10 percent.
NPV: US$ 4.8 bn
That's about 30 percent up from where we are today even under cataclysmic assumptions.
Same as LX, seeking alpha spread fake information
Wasn't expecting a dividend. Impressive earnings this quarter.
This should be up 10 percent.
BlackRock Inc. has bought 9.75% more shares of QFIN in Q3, increasing its total holding in QFIN to 3,835,069 shares
quarterly dividend is huge, plus both revenue and eps beat. 29 shall be an easy target for tomorrow.
